Justice - Moogfest

Justice have announced they will be playing a one-off gig in Asheville, North Carolina, on 25th October as a warm-up gig for Moogfest. Tickets on sale 29th June.

In case you missed it elsewhere, Scratch Live 2.4.2 is now available from the Serato website. Used with The Bridge, you can now record your sets as fully-featured, editable Ableton Live Set, just in case you didn’t get it quite right first time. Expect a lot of very polished “live” sets coming your way soon…

vms4-1American Audio have finally overhauled their veteran controller as the VMS4.1. (That .1 is all important). Blog Digital DJ Tips say they have sorted out the audio quality and device-mapping issues that were notable from the first version of the device. It does have an awful lot of features (four decks, a four channel analogue mixer, timecode operation) for under £350, so it’s bargalicious. It ships with Virtual DJ LE and a Traktor version is to follow.

And finally, some potentially earth-shattering news. Digital DJ Tips have posited that IOS6 may give all us iPad DJs-in-waiting the split audio we need for cueing. Hurrah for that, I say!
